Perhaps one of the best representations of our tea

Perhaps one of the best representations of our team’s time at the conference this weekend is this picture. A simple cross with the sun rising.

Amidst self-doubt, uncertain futures, healing, learning, forgetting and remembering again who we are in Christ, we must always look to the cross. It is easy to get lost in the things of this world, Satan can cause us to feel defeated, diminished, devalued, depressed and many more ‘D’ words. However, Jesus can restore and redeem us. Because of the cross we can be reborn and redeemed. (All of the ‘R’ words!) Free of charge. Just believe.

If you seek Him, you will find Him. He’s waiting for you. His arms are always open. Jesus will not turn you away and He will fold you in His arms as you are. Come as you are. He loves you.

And now, because we KNOW this is true. We must shout it from the mountaintops (or bluffs here in Wi!) What a refreshing weekend of being renewed. (More ‘R’ words!)

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” {matthew 28:18-19}

Worship this evening from the Conference. Our team is being SO blessed. Let this soak over you. If you’re going through a difficult time, remember that God has always and will always be faithful. Whether you are walking through great times or difficult times tonight, remember that God can take the most difficult and seemingly bad/confusing situations and work them for your good. He promises you that. You just need to hand over the reins to Him. And I will live in the GOODNESS of God.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. |romans 8:29|

Our team has safely made it to the Midwest Bounty

Our team has safely made it to the Midwest Bounty Roundup at Ironwood Springs Christian Ranch!

One of our teammates said:, ‘All I have to say from the first evening session is WOW! It was an unreal experience last night!’

God is moving. We are ready for ALL He has.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” {Isaiah 6:8}

It’s one of our favorite times of the year! It’s getting nice out and summer is coming!

Applications for SHYR’s 2024 Summer Sessions are due this coming week, Wednesday, April 10th! If you know any kids ages 8-17 who would benefit from spending time one-on-one in mentorship sessions this summer, please request an application by emailing scenichillsyouthranch@gmail.com. Sessions run from June-August and are once a week for 90 minutes each week. Sessions are FREE of charge.

Scenic Hills Youth Ranch exists to inspire hope and purpose to participants who have been through life trauma or other life challenges. We strive to offer a place of simplicity in the midst of an increasingly complex world. Contact us with any questions!

This is the weekend!! Once every two years, we have the opportunity to get together with Similar Ministries from the Midwest who are also working to share hope in difficult places. We get to be encouraged, share best practices and new ideas all while enjoying genuine friendship. What a blessing to be sending a team to the Midwest Bounty RoundUp this weekend.

We are excited to add these SHYR goodie bags to the raffle prizes for the weekend. 🤍

Today if you’ve ever doubted or wondered if the God of the entire universe notices and/or loves you. He has confidently answered YES.

Today if you’ve ever wondered if you can be forgiven and/or healed. The answer is YES.

On the day between Good Friday and Easter, it must have seemed dark. The man who was supposed to be the Savior of the world was dead. BUT God was working. On Easter the light would dispel the darkness and everything would change.

If you’re in the middle of a storm, keep the faith. The Lord will fight for you. Be still. REST.

RELY ENTIRELY ON MY SAVIOR’S TIMING.

Easter is coming. For my good and His glory.

In our journey through life, we encounter numerous

In our journey through life, we encounter numerous challenges, hurts and wounds—We can try all of the solutions: whether it’s relationships, career achievements or even personal development.

Only the cross. Jesus’ act of love on the cross offers us our way back home. It’s an invitation to experience a love so deep and so vast that it can heal our most profound hurts and mend our brokenness. This love doesn’t just patch up our wounds, it transform us from the inside out. In Him, we find not only forgiveness for our past, but also strength for today, and hope for tomorrow.

The journey with Jesus is not about negating our struggles but about realizing that in the midst of them, we are never alone. In a world that offers temporary fixes, only the cross, only Jesus offers a permanent home in his heart. It’s a home built on unconditional love, unending grace and the promise of eternal life.

In addition, we are accepting applications to be considered for our Mentor/Wrangler team through Monday, April 1st as well. If you are an adult who loves horses, kids and the Lord, reach out for an application!

We got to check-in on Mikki and Buddy this weekend

We got to check-in on Mikki and Buddy this weekend. A really sweet couple has been boarding them over the winter to help us out while we search for our forever home. We can’t wait to bring them back home this summer! They have been thoroughly loved! ❤️❤️ If only we could all be this blessed!! #jesushandsandfeet #lovebeyondwords THANK YOU!!
